Today is going to be great!! Today is going to be great!! Do you ever find that you have to remind yourself what kind of day it is? I think today is one of those days for me. I am going to open some windows, light a candle and keep reminding myself how great the day is to get some motivation. In the meantime, here are some things I’m loving right now.

wonderful weekend.

What a fun-filled crazy weekend! St. Patties Day was filled with visiting bars in downtown Columbus, lunch with friends, listening to bands, Irish dancing and music, and lots of green beer. We were blessed to have the most beautiful weather and the day was a blast.

Yesterday we had terrible weather. Tornado warning, hail, and thunderstorms...not fun! Other than yesterday, this week is off to a great start with 70 degree weather. I hope this warm weather streak continues!

What an amazingly beautiful day! 70 and sunny in Ohio and it has me in the best mood possible! So much that I put on my favorite walking boots and taking my favorite lady this afternoon for a stroll around a park. I hope everyone is enjoying the day!

 New KitchenAid Mixer in Mint Green. They actually sent me two but only charged me once. I returned the other and got a $25 gift card for doing the right thing. :) Karma, baby!

After being sick for what seemed like an eternity, I started feeling better just in time for the amazing weather yesterday. I pretty much rested all weekend and was in bed by ridiculous early hours on both Friday and Saturday. I am so thankful that I forced myself to rest because I was able to enjoy the 70 degree weather yesterday by taking a run, eating lunch on a patio, napping with the windows open, barbecuing and listening to Kyle play the guitar.

Due to the lack of posts last week from being sick, I thought I would share some pics of my life lately, according to my iPhone:

Nothing is better than after being gone for a couple days to come home to this little face. Nothing.

I finally got to meet the newest family member, MacKenzie Grace Gusmus. She is the sweetest, most beautiful little lady and as you can see, she is so tiny. She didn't wake up once when we were there. Beyond precious!

I bought these pants at one of my favorite online stores Tobi right before fashion week and I can't tell you how excited I was to see designers like Paul Smith and 3.1 Phillip Lim rocking them on the runway. I feel like Ms. Ruby approves as she stares at me in the background.

SIDE NOTE: I can't tell you how many funny looks I have gotten when at the coffee shop or out-and-about while wearing these pants. However if I had a quarter for every questionable look I got in midwest Ohio, I would own a mansion. Better to just own it and rock it...so that's what I do.
